Graduation
Graduation is a fantastic time to gather with your family and friends to celebrate the achievement of completing your course of study. There are two times in the year when students can apply to graduate.
By 1 October for inclusion in the end-of-year conferral of awards process and the CHC Annual Graduation Ceremony:
If you are completing your course requirements at the end of Semester 2 of a year, you can apply to have your award conferred in December of that year and to participate in the Annual CHC Graduation Ceremony in March of the following year. Graduates who participate in the ceremony receive their testamurs and transcripts on the night, while those who are not able to participate have their documents mailed to them.
By 30 June for inclusion in the mid-year conferral of awards process:
If you are completing your course requirements at the end of Summer Semester or Semester 1 of a year, you can apply to have your award conferred in August of the same year. There is no Graduation Ceremony held in conjunction with the mid-year conferral of awards; however, graduates are invited to participate in the following CHC Annual Graduation Ceremony. Those graduates who receive their awards mid-year have their graduation documents mailed to them.
