About Darren
Darren was born in Brisbane and grew up living in Darwin, Sydney, rural New South Wales and Queensland. He became a Christian during his last year of high school and since that time has been actively involved with a wide range of ministries relating to the spiritual growth, development and nurture of children, youth and young adults.

Darren trained as a primary school teacher and taught for a number of years in Christian schools as well as working on a range of curriculum and syllabus related initiatives for the Queensland Schools Curriculum Council and The Australian Academy of Science.  Darren also spent two highly rewarding and enjoyable years as the Vice-Principal of a large International School in Hong Kong and completed his Master of Education from QUT during this time.  He is preparing to undertake doctoral studies, where his thesis will investigate and analyse organisational, cultural and generational change within the Christian schools sector in Queensland.

Darren has lectured in both the School of Education and Humanities and the School of Social Sciences at Christian Heritage College and is passionate about Christian worldview and the outworking of worldview concepts upon all aspects of society, education and culture.  He is also passionate about his wife, Rosalind, and the growth and development of his four wonderful children: Matthew, Joshua, Rebecca and Ben.
