The School of Social Sciences offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, from Diploma to Masters levels, which include generalist Social Sciences studies as well as specialised areas of study such as Counselling, Youth Studies, Chaplaincy, Human Services, Community Development and Welfare Studies.

• CHC's School of Social Sciences undergraduate and postgraduate courses are accredited by PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia)
• CHC courses are accredited by the Qld Minister for Education
• CHC is approved under the Higher Education Support Act 2003
