Higher education is no longer the privilege of a few; it is increasingly a normal expectation for today's school-leaver, or for an older person contemplating a change in direction.
Higher education lays a foundation for the future, and choosing a course of study and an institution at which to study is one of the more important decisions a person will make. It is a decision that can shape the future direction of life and work in a powerful way, and indeed people expect that it will do so.
For Christians, the choice is all the more important, because it involves not only career prospects, but also God's calling and our preparation for a life of serving Him, which has eternal rewards.
