Explore the theory and practice of dramatic performance from ancient Greece to the present with a drama degree

“All the world’s a stage.” –William Shakespeare

The Millis Institute offers expert teaching on the theory and practice of drama in their drama degree program. Our drama degree students explore theatre history and contemporary performance in the wider context of a liberal arts education. Our classes combine practical exercises and performance with Socratic discussion of some of the major works of theatre from ancient Greece to the present. Liberal Arts drama degree students may choose to complete either a minor or major in Drama.

The plays studied are listed under the Key Texts tab.
