INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Our international students contribute to the rich fabric of student life at CHC.

By undertaking studies at CHC you can take advantage of Australia’s world-class system of higher education in areas such as business and management, education, ministry, human services and counselling. CHC students rank their educational experience as being amongst the highest in all Australian universities and higher education providers (QILT, 2020 data).

Apply as an International Student

If you are an international student, you are to submit an application for International Students regardless of the course for which you are applying.

If you are an international student who is currently completing Year 12, you may apply through QTAC; however, QTAC will forward your application to CHC to be assessed and, if approved, you will receive your offer from CHC, not from QTAC.

GOT MORE QUESTIONS?

Here are the most frequent ones.

Application for admission to all undergraduate courses and the Master of Teaching courses must be submitted through QTAC. For postgraduate courses, please apply directly through the website.

Once you’re offered a place at CHC, you can then submit an Application for Transfer of Credit and your request for recognition of prior learning and/or recognised current competency will be assessed by your Course Coordinator.

The unit costs for the current year can be found on our Financial Information page (please note that there may be a slight increase for the following year). Students enrolled in the pre-service education courses, who meet the eligibility requirements, are able to access HECS-HELP to defer their student contribution amount. All other students who meet the eligibility requirements, have access to FEE-HELP assistance.

CHC offers a limited number of scholarships. Current scholarship information is available on our scholarships page.
