Our world needs people who can help others understand biblical truth.

Many people have questions about faith, spirituality, truth, the Bible, and Christianity. Sound biblical knowledge is essential to helping volunteers, ministers and leaders answer the questions that people are asking.

The Undergraduate Certificate in Biblical Studies comprises four (4) core units. It provides students with the opportunity to engage in introductory Biblical studies enabling them to gain the foundational knowledge, critical skills and abilities, and an understanding of Christian spiritual transformation, required in the integration, communication and presentation of sound biblical knowledge commensurate with entry level Christian service in diverse contexts such as church and para church organisations.

Foundational biblical knowledge, critical skills and abilities, and an understanding of Christian spiritual transformation, have the potential to transform practice in a wide range of areas such as:

  • Youth ministry
  • Childrens ministry
  • Creative ministry
  • Media team ministry
  • Small groups ministry
  • Pastoring
  • Education
  • Counselling
