Early Offer Pathways
At CHC, we are passionately dedicated to helping students pursue and develop the gifts and callings on their lives. The Year 12 Early Offer Scheme can provide certainty about your future options, with an offer to study at CHC before receiving your ATAR or VET Diploma. If eligible, you'll receive an offer for your QTAC first preference the day you complete Year 12. We recognise that an ATAR isn’t the only indication of someone’s ability to succeed at studying and pursuing a career and that numerous factors, including both external and individual circumstances, can influence the outcome of a student’s schooling.
Am I Eligible?
The scheme is open to Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, and New Zealand citizens completing Year 12 in 2026. This includes:
Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (SSCE) students who either:
a) are completing at least five ATAR General subjects
b) have a completed Certificate IV or AQF VET Diploma
You need to follow the steps below for applying and receiving an offer and meet the important dates. A CHCUndergraduate course needs to be your first QTAC preference before an early offer can be made.
Supporting Documentation
Current Year 12 applicants must provide evidence of completed or achieved studies. Acceptable documentation may include:
- A screenshot or PDF of your senior secondary education results issued by the relevant state or territory curriculum and assessment authority; or
- An official academic transcript, statement of results, learning account summary, or equivalent document issued by your school or assessment authority.
If your final Year 12 results are not yet available by the first offer round, you may still be considered in a later offer round by submitting the most recent official results available by the published documentation deadline. Contact your school for assistance in obtaining supporting documentation.
AQF VET Diploma students: Provide your completed award certificate or academic transcript issued by the registered training organisation (RTO).
Home-schooled students: Provide a completion certificate, registration documentation, or other evidence of completed secondary studies as required by the relevant state or territory home education authority.
Applying and receiving an offer
Complete your QTAC application by the deadline, listing one of our eligible courses in your top three preferences.

4 August | QTAC applications open
21 October | Final date to complete your QTAC application to be considered for an early offer invitation
You’ll receive an email inviting you to apply for the scheme. Invitation emails will be sent out each week. If you’ve only recently selected your preferences, your invitation email may still be pending and will be sent the following week. You can also view your invitation and other early offer correspondence through your QTAC online application, in the ‘Outstanding Documents’ menu. Make sure you check your junk and spam email folders and add QTAC to your safe sender list.

1 September - 23 October | CHC invitation email sent weekly to eligible applicants
When you have received your invitation, upload your supporting documentation to your QTAC application by the deadline. Upload them as one combined PDF attachment.

4 November | Final date to upload supporting documentation to QTAC for guaranteed consideration for 20 November offer round
13 November | Final date to upload supporting documentation to QTAC for guaranteed consideration for 27 November offer round
If you've been approved for a first round early offer, you'll receive an email notification from QTAC.
Remember to always check your QTAC online application and your email, including your junk and spam folders, so you don't miss out on any advice about your application.

Make sure one of our Undergraduate courses is listed as your QTAC first preference by the deadline. If you have another course listed as your first preference, you won't receive an early offer.

17 November | Final date for first round approved applicants to reorder preferences to ensure an Undergraduate CHC courses is listed as your QTAC first preference
24 November | Final date for second round approved applicants to reorder preferences to ensure an eligible CHC course is listed as your QTAC first preference
If you've followed these steps and met the requirements outlined on this page, you'll receive your early offer.
Important Dates:
20 November | QTAC early offers released to first round approved applicants with an eligible CHC course as their first preference.
27 November |QTAC early offers released to second round approved applicants with an eligible CHC course as their first preference.
Follow the instructions on your offer email. When you've accepted your early offer through QTAC, you'll then be able to enrol at CHC when enrolment opens. Don’t ignore your early offer and let it lapse - once QTAC has sent you an offer, they won’t send you a reminder or a follow-up offer.
If you’re unsure about accepting your early offer, we suggest that you accept, and then reorder your QTAC preferences to be considered for other offers in December and January when you know your ATAR or selection rank. Once you have placed a new course as your first preference, the response for your old first preference changes to conditional.
You can defer your offer if you want to take time off before starting study.

Other things to Consider
Adjustment schemes
As the early offer scheme uses your school results and not your completed ATAR or selection rank, adjustments can't be applied. If you're not eligible for an early offer, adjustments will apply to your ATAR or selection rank in the December and January offer rounds.
Conditional and Unconditional Offers
You will receive a conditional offer once the supporting documents have been confirmed.
Your offer will go unconditional when:
ATAR:
- Once your final school report has been finalised and ATAR rank meets course requirements
- Once all other course requirements have been completed (Ministries and Counselling)
VET/Diploma:
- Once all other course requirements have been completed (Ministries and Counselling)
Home School:
- Once your final school report has been finalised and ATAR rank meets course requirements
- Once all other course requirements have been completed (Ministries and Counselling)
