Education Degrees
Students can choose to undertake either Primary or Secondary teaching. Primary students choose a specialisation from a selection of subject areas in the Primary curriculum, while Secondary students choose two teaching areas from those offered from the Secondary curriculum.

Christian Education
Christian Education is where faith and learning are integrated to develop the whole individual in mindsets that foster growth, flourishing, and encourage service and outreach as an overflow of loving kindness. It is Christian teachers who make Christian schools faith-based, and for many Christians, they recognise teaching is a missional calling to help the next generation.
Course Options

accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) and appear on the National Register of Higher Education Providers.
approved for offering to overseas students and appear on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
accredited by the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) and the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) as meeting the qualification requirement for registration as a teacher in all states and territories of Australia, and appear on the AITSL Accredited Programs List.
approved for HECS-HELP, Youth Allowance/Abstudy and Austudy (eligibility requirements apply).

Teach for a purpose
Teach for a Purpose is CHC's embedded model of Initial Teacher Education, allowing you to study your course while being immersed in a school environment. CHC collaborates with Christian schools across Australia, including those in remote, regional, and capital cities, to provide students with the best classroom-ready teaching experience. While every school in the program offers slightly different integration reflecting their unique culture and opportunities, all provide CHC's quality tertiary degrees, available both fully online and on campus modes. In some schools, you can even work in support roles a few days a week as you study and gain on-the-job experience.
